Nothing like some hot and spicy chicken and prawns peppersoup on a cold Sunday afternoon.πŸ˜€



  • Full chicken or chicken parts
  • Peeled jumbo prawns
  • Peppersoup spice mix or spice of your choice, all things spice.
  • Ground coriander
  • Ground pepper
  • Ground ginger and garlic
  • Ground onions
  • Scent leaf
  • Maggi crayfish
  • Salt to taste
  • Water.


Cut chicken into little pieces, wash and steam in a pot with a cube of maggi crayfish, grind some garlic, ginger pepper and onions, add to the chicken, add a pinch of salt and allow to steam for a bit before adding some water to enable chicken cook through.

After about 15 minutes, add some peppersoup spice mix, add some ground coriander and stir, taste for salt, add peeled prawns, chop fresh scent leaf and add, allow to cook for about 5 minutes, stir and bring down from heat. Serve hot and enjoy.
